While researching citizen media articles on ICT4D, I found that even though there was a lot of development related work happening on the ground, there was not enough conversation in citizen or social media on many of these issues. Also, many of the grassroot projects were not gettting the attention and exposure they deserved as they were pretty much 'offline' and hence not accessible to many of us.
Thus was born the idea of Discussing Development, a space to engage in conversations pertaining to development related issues - ICT4D, governance, communities, management of natural resources, gender and social inclusion.
