After last year's fiasco at the Kolkata Book Fair when a sudden power cut plunged the entire area into darkness, was pleasantly surprised to see that this year the organisers have roped in the WBREDA (West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency) to power the Book Fair venue with solar lighting.
Hopefully we will see more of such initiatives. Now for our street lights...
